The Afar people, also known as the Danakil, are a Cushitic ethnic group inhabiting the Horn of Africa. Primarily residing in the Afar Region of Ethiopia, northern Djibouti, and southern Eritrea, they are renowned for their resilience in one of the hottest environments on Earth.
